Italian style with modern electronic music and International flavour

Sigmatibet is an electro-band combining Italian style with modern electronic music and International flavour.
Signed to CX, they reached an International status with their second single “Rock Music(what’s that fuzz)” licensed to 20 countries by EMI Music Italy.
Same thing happened for the following “The Dragster Cowboy E.P.” and the single “Free”, soundtrack to the SECTOR WATCH tv advertised campaign....
Their debut album “Chills” was released October 2001 on CX/ EMI and featured no less than 4 singles: “Rock Music”, “Free”, “Electric Boogaloo”, “Dragster cowboy”

A cult band already in Italy, Sigmatibet are a live experience more than anything else.
An incredible pulsing audio/video experience representing the “grey” style of a Milano where fashion and design gets mixed with the underground feeling of the what is definitely the most cosmopolitan among the Italian cities.

Their live show, includes is also responsible for the state of the art piece video “Electric Bogaloo” video, which is still used, years later, by MTV Italy on several indoor spots
Sigmatibet activities include a pretty good number of collaborations with major Italian pop acts.
Back in 2000 they put together a unique performance in one of the most important underground clubs in Milan, a digital jam session, whereas each night a different Italian pop artist/band was mixed live by Sigmatibet creating interactivity between different worlds: pop and electro.

……and “Different world” is the title of their second album , released in 2004 by CX/EMI Italy, the album was definitely a step away from the previous one, though not completely strange to the previous album.

“Different world” takes Sigmatibet closer to the world of film directors (especially for short films, documentaries and tv advertising) and fashion designers and is mastered in London by Mike Marsh of Depeche Mode and Goldfrapp fame.
The new direction chosen by Sigmatibet leads to a dreamy world made of oneiric atmospheres though pulsing beats. electro rock and the glamorous charm of the night foggy moments of the winter in Milan, which could be erlin or New York as well.
The band has synthesized “Different world” as: >A sophisticated album, for international taste. To dance to or to listen to while watching a metropolitan harvest, possible soundtrack for modern living rooms or for images shot to be real Italian style; a style which has started to musically talk to the world.

Since then, Sigmatibet kept developing their music and play live, meanwhile CX and Sigmatibet departed from EMI and joined the small, alternative, 360° RNC Music label and joined force to digitally re-launch both albums while working on a new project.

What is amazing of these two albums, "Chills" and "Different world" is the kind of feedback they're getting several years after their original release. It looks like people are discovering them right now and their sound is topical now, more than ever, as if just off the mixer!
