What began as a melody and a big idea in VK Lynne ’s shower has become an orchestral imagination of epic proportions.

Vita Nova, the international pairing of VK Lynne & Federico Salerno, will feature not 1, but 3 Eve's Apple guest vocalists on their next song: Maxi Nil- Visions of Atlantis Official, Iliana Tsakiraki- Meden Agan, and Grace Meridan- Shield of Wings, along with guest guitarist and co-producer, Shane Gibson, formerly of Korn and current lead guitarist of LA band The Spider Accomplice.

GABIN

Last night we bumped into the film "The fantastic 4" on TV and we suddenly remembered that also the soundtrack of this movie includes a track from Gabin, "Bang Bang To The Rock'n'Roll" which will be included on the "Best Of" which we will release in March.

Ieri sera ci siamo imbattuti nel film "I fantastci 4", in televisione e ci siamo ricordati che anche la colonna sonora di questo film include un brano dei Gabin, "Bang Bang To The Rock'n'Roll" che farà parte del "Best Of" che pubblicheremo a marzo.

One year after the release of the album “Between Life And Dreams” , the press keeps talking about DEVA.

Though the band is already known in several countries, as the album has been licensed to Russia, Ukraine and CIS, UK and Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Finland, South Korea and Japan, thanks to  “Live in Italy” and “Live Nation” that trusted in the potential of the band, on the 5th of November 2011,  DEVA opened for Trivium at Magazzini Generali and make their official introduction to the Italian audience and, moreover,  to the Italian press that wrote about them:

• “Trivium were supported by the Italian band Deva, whose performance was very much appreciated by the audience, though the general taste was different  from their genre. Much more progressive and melodic, compared to Trivium, Deva hypnotized the audience also thanks to the voice of the band’s singer,  the opera singer Beatrice Palumbo, who simply mesmerized them.”

• “We listened to them for you and we give them our thumbs up to promote their music, which could be the heir of northern bands such as Nightwish and Within Temptation.”

A successful year for  Deva, who, meanwhile, have changed their line-up. Marco Castiglione and Miriam Stallone have been replaced by keyboardist Davide Barbieri and the seventeen years old bass player Furio Bigi.

Davide, as well as the drummer Thomas D’Alba, studied at Milan’s conservatory “G. Verdi”, and, as  the band’s lead singer, the opera singer Beatrice Palumbo, took his first steps at renowned Milan’s “Teatro Alla Scala”

Furio, 17 years old, multi-instrumentalist, is getting a diploma in oboe at Milan’s  Conservatory “G. Verdi” . He is the musician son of an actress mother and a musician father, with music in his DNA, like Deva’s guitar player Federico Salerno, whose grandfather Nicola Salerno (Ni.Sa.) was no less than the writer of most of Renato Carosone’s songs, including the world famous “Tu Vuò Fà l’Americano”.  Federico, along with Beatrice,  is co writer/composer of all Deva’s songs.

DEVA, with the new line-up, partially announced on the stage of Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, on the world premiere of the movie “Dark Resurrection”, which soundtrack includes “What Have I Become”, track purposely written by Deva for this movie, are now in the studio, working on their second album which will be released by RNC Music at the end of 2012.
